Business Development and Strategic Alliances Manager WIND RIVER

Stuart Newton obtained a BSc (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Loughborough University in 1991, and joined Wind River in 1997 after six years working on industrial and marine control systems for Cegelec Projects Ltd.  During his time at Wind River, Stuart has held positions as Field Application Engineer, Market Development Manager, Strategic Alliances Manager, and Business Development Manager.  As Market Development Manager, Stuart was responsible for Wind River’s reconfigurable computing strategy, and enjoyed extensive exposure to multi-core techniques and challenges involving CPU’s, DSP’s and FPGA’s.  Stuart is a UK Chartered Engineer (CEng), and is currently focusing on Strategic Alliances and Business Development activity, primarily in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region (EMEA).
